Went fishing 🎣 in Manasquan Inlet this evening on a sunny, hot day with a strong south wind and incoming tide. Air temperature was 91 degrees when I left Bordentown and 60 degrees when I left the inlet. Caught nothing in 4 of 5 trips to the inlet this year. Another fisherman said he caught striped bass at Dog Beach at night with SP minnows. Saw 3 people putting graffiti on the rocks. Took pics. Caught a lot of weeds. Oystercatchers and ospreys were nearby. Brant were on Debbie’s Creek. I got the first parking spot near the jetty again. Other fishermen fished on both sides of my spot. I may not return until next Monday.
